Senior Student Experience Officer

The Student Experience Team is responsible for the effective delivery of all administrative tasks associated with learning and teaching, and is committed to supporting an excellent experience for all our students. As a Senior Student Experience Officer within the team, you will be responsible for managing and developing a number of areas within that process. The ability to manage others, work autonomously and as an effective team member are essential to this role.
As Senior Student Experience Officer you will lead on all aspects of student academic status, and progression and support. You will have proven experience of reviewing, developing and implementing improvements to administrative processes and systems, and of promoting these to team members and academic colleagues.
You will take overall responsibility for a number of key administrative activities related to the student experience, including student status, student information, student support, attendance monitoring processes, and appeals and complaints, working in partnership with the Student Experience Manager and Academic and Professional Service colleagues. You will be responsible for all student representation matters, and lead on student evaluation activity for the School, including those related to externally run schemes.
You will provide and model excellent customer service to both students and staff, and will manage and motivate staff to ensure a first class service is provided. You will work cohesively across the Student Experience Team providing support to colleagues in periods of peak workloads and ensuring cover in absence, to provide an outstanding service to both staff and students.
