**Holiday Inn Express Bodmin - Victoria Junction** is a 71 bedroomed hotel, located at Cornwall Services in Roche. We have 2 meeting rooms and serve a complimentary breakfast with selected hot items to all of our guests. During the daytime, we serve a limited menu and, in the evening a more substantial offering for our guests. The hotel is the first Holiday Inn Express in Cornwall and is built to the latest Generation 4 design standards for the brand. Due to the easing of lockdown, we are currently recruiting a full-time Guest Services Assistant to join our front-of-house and kitchen team. **Experienced Guest Services Assistant Required** This is a full-time role, working 8-hour shifts (7.00am - 3.00pm or 3.00pm - 11.00pm) 5 days a week. **Your day-to-day** - As **Guest Services Assistant**, you will work with the wider hotel Front Desk and F&B team to ensure our guests have the perfect stay. - You will be friendly, welcoming, make the guests feel at home delight in making sure they have a fantastic start to their day - You will be passionate about our brand, and love what we do for our guests. - You will look professional, be punctual, polite, courteous and helpful to guests and fellow team members at all times - You will be fully conversant with the facilities, services and promotions offered by the hotel and the local area and whenever appropriate, share this knowledge with our guests - You will be confident in company policies and food safety procedures and ensure these are followed at all times **We are looking for someone who**: - Works well under pressure in a busy environment - Can manage their time and multitask well - Is a team player and has a "can-do" attitude - Works well as part of a team - Has some experience of working within a kitchen or restuarant environment **Benefits** We will provide year-round employment, training & development, uniform, hotel discounts in over 5,500 hotels worldwide, and the chance to work with a great team of people. **Is this your passion?** Please get in touch and tell us how you can bring your individual skills to us, including a copy of your CV. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: From £20,800.00 per year Additional pay: - Tips **Benefits**: - Discounted or free food - Employee discount - On-site parking Schedule: - 8 hour shift
