Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and welcoming Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in and check-out procedures
  • Manage guest reservations efficiently using hotel management software
  • Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy
  • Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities
  • Maintain accurate records of guest details and billing information
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared and maintained to high standards
  • Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, escalating issues when necessary
  • Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure safety and security for all guests and staff

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of guest services standards within the hospitality industry is advantageous
  • Friendly, approachable manner with a genuine desire to deliver outstanding customer service

Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.21 per hour
