**About the role;**

Reporting to the Managed Services Team Leader you will join the Northeast resource pool of Managed Services Consultants. The primary responsibility will be to provide support alongside our “on-site” managed service consultant for approximately 3 days a week, based at a chemical production client in Seal Sands, Teesside. During your time on-site, you will be required to respond to support tickets logged by end users, whilst also ensuring IT systems are kept in peak condition.

There will also be opportunities throughout the remainder of the working week to work alongside other consultants in the delivery of our managed services visits, project work, and work in our configuration centre in Team Valley from time to time.

To be successful in this role you must be able to deliver an exceptional customer service. Be comfortable dealing with customers face to face in a high-pressure environment and working alongside colleagues and clients. You will have a passion for learning a wide and varied technical skillset covering all aspects of hardware, software, and infrastructure systems.

- Complete pre-defined checks, review IT systems-
- Collect and record additional technical audit information as and when required-
- Supporting the delivery of minor projects, delivering new equipment or changes to existing environments-
- Keep customers up to date regularly with regards to any work you are carrying out for them-
- Assist existing Managed Services team in delivering an exceptional managed service to clients-
- Updating internal systems including CRM and ITSM's-
- Creation and maintaining of technical documentation**Knowledge, Skills & Experience;**- Full driving licence required and access to a car-
- Any previous IT qualifications would be desirable-
- An interest in learning a wide variety of hardware and software platforms, cloud systems, servers, networking devices-
- A broad knowledge of troubleshooting desktop operating systems and mobile devices-
- Good time management, prioritisation skills, and the ability to manage your own workload efficiently-
- Excellent face to face communication skills along with a pleasant telephone manner-
- Demonstratable problem solving skills, with a pro-active ‘can do’ attitude-
- Comfortable working on site, in front of customers at their place of work-
- Ideally some previous experience working in a Windows based network environment and dealing with end-users-
- An outstanding work ethic, willingness to learn and excel in the role-
- Attention to detail is paramount, along with the ability to manage personal workload and work to your own initiative-
- Great analytical skills with the confident pro-active approach to work-
