**Front of House Receptionist - Student Accommodation**

**Location**: Belfast City Centre

**Job Type**: Full-time / Permanent
**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week
**Shifts**: Mix of early (8am - 4pm) and afternoons (12pm - 8pm), including evenings and weekends (5 shifts across Monday - Sunday)

**About the Role**

Are you a people person with a passion for customer service and operations? Do you thrive in a environment where no two days are the same? We’re looking for a dedicated **Front of House Receptionist** to be the friendly face of our student accommodation in Belfast.

You’ll be the first point of contact for students, visitors, and contractors—providing top-tier customer service while keeping everything running smoothly. From managing front desk operations to handling bookings, managing community environment, and ensuring a seamless student experience, this role is perfect for someone who is proactive, organised, and enjoys working as part of a team and can be a self starter working on their own initiative.

**What You’ll Be Doing**

**Front Desk & Customer Service**
- Welcome students, guests, and visitors with a warm, professional approach
- Manage check-ins and check-outs, ensuring smooth transitions
- Ensure all complaints and maintenance requests are handled efficiently, liaising with staff and contractors as needed
- Cash, card & payment handling

**Operations & Administration**
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and tenancy agreements
- Organise and distribute keys, contracts, inventories, and mail
- Completing inspections, apartments, kitchens, departure & arrivals
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed, including fire safety compliance
- Being confident with residents ensuring they are following all house rules and reminding them as such
- Clear knowledge and lengthy experience of excel & Microsoft

**Community**
- Help drive bookings and student engagement through creative campaigns
- Conduct accommodation tours for potential tenants and contribute to sales efforts
- Working with the team to ensure that all our residents feel like they are at home
- Updating all community boards with the most up to date events Belfast has to offer
- Assist and organise with events, activations and community for all residents

**What We’re Looking For**

✔ **Skills & Experience**:

- **At least 2 years’ experience** in reception, front desk, or customer service
- Strong IT and **Microsoft Office skills** (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience in **student accommodation**(preferred but not essential)
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths & English (Grade C or above)
- An excellent ability to **organise**, prioritise, and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail
