The Respect Young People's Service develops and implements responses to Children and Adolescents to Parent Violence and Abuse (CAPVA), as well as young people who use abusive behaviour to their intimate relationships. As their National Lead, you will work closely with, and report directly to the Head of Young People's Services, to shape the strategic direction of the service. You will also support and line manage a team working on Service and Practice Development and Implementation and Workforce development. With a focus on improving individual service responses to CAPVA and abuse in young people's relationships, to shaping systemic and policy level responses.

To be successful, you will have demonstrable experience of leading significant services at operational and strategic level, combined with a track record in developing interventions to create change in families or with people using abusive behaviour and/or a similar sector. This is a crucial role for Respect, and as such you'll be a strong team leader and have previous experience of service development at national scale. Finally, you will be passionate about shaping and improving the way young people using abusive behaviours are responded to, and be committed to both the safety of those at risk; recognising the needs of those who pose a risk to others.
