As a Technical Author we are looking for people who can demonstrate at least 12 months office-based experience and confident in writing preferably a GCSE in English.
Joining a current team of four, you will be responsible for development, coordination, and completion of technical documentation for the site operating manuals. You will be planning projects from start to finish, using your relationship building skills to engage with key stake holders to ensure that the project is finalised within the allocated time frame.
You will need to have an analytical and problem-solving mindset to be able to make decisions autonomously, whilst obtaining information from experts. You will need manage own time and deliver against tight timescales and possess high attention to detail

This is a key project for Southern Water as all documentation produced is used by the frontline field teams and working partner in their daily tasks, which means you will need to be organised and work to high standards to ensure the task at hand is completed in a timely manner.
You will be engaging with teams across the business, which It’s incredibly interesting to hear from so many knowledgeable people, As a Technical Author your key focus is building relationships and working within a team environment.
