Making A Difference as an Accounts Payable Assistant in the Accounts Payable Team

The postholder will assist the Accounts Payable Manager in delivering a professional Accounts Payable Service on behalf of the Council.

Your role is to undertake processes to ensure the prompt and accurate payment of sums due to supplier and other external parties and administrative tasks in support of that function.

You must be prepared to work in a busy, team environment and possess excellent written, mathematical and verbal communication skills. Previous experience of dealing with the processing of invoices for payment would be an advantage.
