**Area Sales Manager - Sealants**

Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Sealants and EPDM Facades
Industry Sector: Sealants, EPDM Facades, Sealant Applicators, Builders Merchants, Architects & Specifiers, Main Contractors and Window Manufacturers
Area to be covered: Scotland - ideally based central belt
Remuneration: Up to £40,000 + 15% bonus

Benefits: Fully expensed BMW car & full benefits
The role of the Area Sales Manager Sealants and EPDM Facades will involve:

- Field sales position, promoting a manufactured range of sealants and EPDM facades
- Majority of time selling direct into system suppliers/ window manufacturers and builders merchants/ stockists & distributors
- Small amount of time selling into main contractors, flooring contractors and specifiers
- Responsible for an area capable of £1m turnover
- 15 customer face to face visits per week
- Securing 4 x £15,000+ customer accounts per annum and 2 new accounts per quarter of £5,000+
- 50% new business development, 50% account management (circa 50 customers)
- Inheriting a territory which has been neglected in recent months (no field sales representation since September)
- Typical order values circa £20,000-£40,000

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Sealants and EPDM Facades with:

- Proven field sales experience within the building trade
- Ideally sold sealant or EPDM façade associated products
- Preferably a mix of direct sales to system suppliers/ window manufacturers and/ or builders merchants/ stockists & distributors
- Autonomous in nature
- Excellent work ethic
- Self motivated, driven and understands value added selling, quality / performance over price
- Strong territory planning skills
