**About the Role**
As Volunteer Coordinator, no two weeks will look the same. You’ll play a central role in recruiting, supporting and developing volunteers across our services - from community events and youth programmes to corporate volunteering days and student placements.
You’ll be the first point of contact for volunteers, ensuring they feel welcomed, supported, and recognised for their contribution. This role is a mix of hands-on delivery, people engagement, and strategic coordination. It’s ideal for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys building relationships, and is passionate about creating meaningful volunteer experiences that benefit individuals and their wider community.
**Who are we looking for**:
**Essential Skills & Experience**:
- Experience in volunteer coordination, recruitment or training
- Experience working with vulnerable people or in sensitive environments
- Experience delivering projects, working collaboratively, and engaging with communities
- Strong IT and admin skills
- Understanding of formal and informal volunteering structures
- Knowledge of safeguarding legislation

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Initiative and problem-solving mindset
- Empathy, positivity, and the ability to motivate others
- Passion for volunteering and community development
- A full, clean driving licence
