**Vacancy Overview**:
Are you looking to get into Sales and want the opportunity to work with a global business? This role will suit someone who is looking to find out more about working in sales and begin their career by supporting the Sales Team based in Scunthorpe.
**Working Week**:
38hrs 15 mins per week - Mon - Thurs 8.30 - 5.15 Friday 8.30 - 4.45pm
**Detailed Job Description**:
Remit are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of ArcelorMittal Distribution Services for someone to support their sales team, ensuring that the administrative processes are completed to ensure customer orders are efficiently dealt with.
Your duties will include:
Follow the AMDS Health & Safety policies and procedures reporting any safety issues or breaches of the rules.
Assist with the collation of Test Certificates daily.
Raise sales orders and pass them on to production planning for allocation and planning.
Work closely with designated sales executives supporting them in customer relationships and the recruitment of business.
Engaging with new customers and contacts.
Ensure that the administrative processes required to fulfil customer orders are organised and carried out efficiently i.e orders, reply to enquiries related to lead times and stocks whenever appropriate.
Highlight to line manager any stock problems that arise.
Check that all documentation/information received from the customer is clear, precise, and acceptable in terms of quantity, size/gauge, specifications, price, delivery dates etc.
Any other duties as required by the business.

- Excellent communicator with good personable skills
- Good Telephone manner
- Strong administration, communication and organizational skills.
- Computer proficient with Excel and Word.

- Good Personal presentation, honest, polite and friendly character
- Keen to learn
