**L2 Lean Manufacturing Apprenticeship**

**Description**:
Here at Solutions 4 Plastic, our close and friendly workforce of 7 people works well together as a team, supporting each other grow and learn new skills. We’re offering a Lean Manufacturing Apprenticeship to broaden a persons career path and also to improve our production, and the way the business runs.

As a lean manufacturing Operative Apprentice you will support production run in the most efficient way by looking at new methods of doing things and eliminating unnecessary tasks.

**What does this apprenticeship involve?**
- Looking for solutions so production is the most cost effective and time effective without compromising on quality.
- Supporting production flow, i.e. packing, operating machines.
- Looking at ways to reduce waste and product loss.
- Looking at ways to make business work best, from sales to manufacturing to dispatch.
- Looking at ways to boost moral in the workplace to improve production (factory layout etc).

**Requirements & what we're looking for**:
**Essential**:GSCE Maths and English.

**Desirable qualities**:Communication skills, organisation skills, attention to detail, problem solving skills, logic and initiative skills, & able to work as a team AND independently. Someone with a passion towards the role.

**Additional Information**:
There are TWO positions available for this role. Starting date: As soon as possible. Apprenticeship duration: 12 months. Working week details: Monday-Thursday (32 hours per week). Training will be completed on employer site. Work trial will be needed. Must own transport to get to work, due to poor local transport links.
