A maternity cover vacancy has arisen to join a thriving community nursing team in Central Newport. Central East team are looking for a motivated and experienced health care support worker, who are passionate about delivering compassionate care to people within their own homes and to prevent needless admissions into hospital.

We are a close knit team who support our patients and each other to the best of our ability. If you are hardworking and committed to ensuring the best for patients, then we want to hear from you.

The post holder is expected to work within clinical competencies with supporting base knowledge. They will have achieved and demonstrated all the competencies required to attain a level 3 healthcare qualification. The HCSW is expected to organise workload under the direction of a Registered Nurse Practitioner, undertaking unsupervised and delegated tasks in line with the NLIAH (2010) All Wales Guidelines for Delegation following achievement of required competencies.

This post is fixed term for 9 month to cover maternity leave.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
