**Overview**

We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our finance department to ensure timely and accurate payment of wages, salaries, and benefits. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be essential as you reconcile payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and produce financial reports. This role is remote and homebased with the requirement to travel to meetings on occasion.

Hours are Monday to Wednesday and 9:00am to 5:00pm - We can be slightly flexible on start and finish times.

Salary for 3 days per week - £16,800

**How will you contribute?**
- Be responsible for accurately processing and managing the company's payroll, ensuring timely payment to employees.
- Maintain employee records in compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies, including tax codes, benefits information, and employment contracts.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate and efficient processing of new hires, terminations, salary changes, and other payroll-related actions.
- Validate timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to attendance, overtime, or leave.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports and statements to management and employees, providing clear and concise documentation of earnings, deductions, and taxes.
- Keep updated on changes in payroll regulations and guidelines, implementing necessary adjustments to ensure legal compliance.
- Respond to employee enquires regarding payroll matters, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and providing timely and accurate information.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audits and support the finance team in gathering payroll data for financial reporting purposes.Supporting in the running of end-to-end payroll
- **What will you bring?**
- Experience within a similar role and an understanding of payroll processes
- You must possess basic knowledge of relevant payroll software and systems.
- Good communication skills to effectively address payroll-related queries from employees or external stakeholders.
- Good attention to detail to ensure accuracy in payroll calculations and reporting.
- Demonstrate the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.Have a basic understanding of how to manually calculate deductions from pay such as Tax and NI.
