**Salary**:starting at £18,000 per annum.

**Annual Leave**:28 days per year, to be taken out of term time only

**Fixed Term Employment Contract**:Full-time 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Working (8am-4:30pm) in up to 5 schools per week - minimum of a full day in each school in the following areas of:
Lancashire - 3 Days

Bolton - 1 Day

Manchester - 1 Day

We are looking to recruit a _confident, resilient, hard working and caring person who is passionate _about working with children in a school setting and wants to become a One Goal Health and Wellbeing Coach

As a One Goal Health and Wellbeing Coach you will deliver a variety of services that improve children’s health and wellbeing, these include:

- Individual Mentoring programmes
- PE, Sport and Team Building Sessions
- Programmes to improve self-esteem and build resilience
- Extra curricular sessions.

You’ll work with children from a variety of backgrounds and who may have very challenging needs including: social, emotional and behavioural issues, low self-esteem and poor interpersonal skills.

The aims of our programmes and this role is to make a measured impact upon the child’s wellbeing, personal behaviour in school, attainment, attendance and attitudes towards themselves and their learning.

As a One Goal Health and Wellbeing Coach you’ll be fully trained on our programmes.

You’ll find yourself working with children aged 3-11 years old across the entire school day, either as part of a class, targeted group or on a 1-2-1 basis.

**Responsibilities involve**:

- Planning and delivering both classroom and practical based activities.
- Working with targeted groups of children who have similar needs to help them overcome their barriers to learning and issues.
- Mentoring individuals across the school day including supporting individual children in a classroom environment and 1-2-1 mentoring sessions based on the individual's needs
- Working alongside class teachers, SENCO’s and other school support staff
- Delivering extra-curricular clubs including breakfast club, lunchtime and after-school clubs to extend children’s learning in a fun environment.

**Essential**:

- **MUST have an NGB level 2 coaching qualification in one of the following; football, tag-rugby, handball, basketball, hockey, fundamentals, gymnastics, multi-skills, cricket or athletics.**:

- Experience of working in a school setting.
- Full driving license and their own car

**Desired**:

- Qualifications related to teaching and mentoring.
