**Apprentice Sports Coach - Primary School**

Primary Sports Coaching Limited are looking for a sports-minded, enthusiastic and experienced sports coach to join our team.

As an apprentice sports coach you will be supporting PSCL programmes in primary schools:

- Curriculum PE Lessons
- Teacher CPD
- Active Lunchtimes
- Running School Sports Teams
- Small Group Interventions
- Extra-Curricular Clubs
- Holiday Courses

**Key responsibilities include**:

- To support the delivery of well-structured and progressive PE and physical activity sessions programmes ensuring a high quality, enjoyable experience centred around the needs of the participants
- Share knowledge of primary school PE with programme participants
- Support lead coaches in maintaining appropriate planning and participation records
- Manage children’s behaviour to ensure a positive learning environment
- To carry out duties in accordance with the Primary Sports Coaching Limited's and awarding organisation policies, including equal opportunities, child protection and health and safety.
- To attend appropriate professional development
- To be a positive role model, creating a positive and fun environment in which to motivate and encourage children to participate in sport and physical activity
- Assist with promoting Primary Sports Coaching Limited's products and services
- Deliver Primary Sports Coaching Limited school holiday sports courses
- Work with course tutor and apprenticeship manager to complete all academic work on time and to a high standard

**Working for Primary Sports Coaching Limited**:

- Employed status on a contract of 30 hours per week
- Starting salary of £9,984 - £14,000
- 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
