**LET’S CUT STRAIGHT TO IT**
**Want to do the best work of your life? Playing your part in making a big difference to the environment and communities we serve. Our people make Severn Trent a truly exciting and inclusive place to work - a place where you can be yourself and let your skills shine.**
Our purpose is taking care of life’s essentials, but we’re also big on making a difference, not just because we should but because we care.
Developing our colleagues and future potential is one of the many passions we have here at Severn Trent. In 2020, we opened a purpose-built training facility, ‘The Academy’, to help the Learning and Development team provide even more training and education opportunities to colleagues looking to enhance their skills and knowledge.
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Academy team as our new Academy Apprenticeship Coordinator.
As our Academy Apprenticeship Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery and co-ordination of high-quality apprenticeships that provide an outstanding learning experience.
You’ll be co-ordinating and delivering the apprenticeship journey to meet OFSTED requirements and working closely with Trainer Assessors and the Quality team to provide facilitation support, data gathering and measuring learner progress.
In this role, you’ll build relationships with learners, line managers and workplace mentors and work with stakeholders to support the implementation of learning in the field that’s in line with the curriculum.
Sound like you? Then read on.
**LET’S TELL YOU MORE**
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Be a central point of contact for Academy Apprenticeships queries for learner’s line managers and mentors
- Provide monthly learner progress updates to line managers and mentors
- Ensure the curriculum timetable is scheduled with the Learning Experience team and co-ordinate training dates for learners with operational teams

- Co-ordinate assignments for learners and ensure they are submitted on time
- Provide administration support for trainers / assessors, including collating learner evidence
- Own the Smart Assessor e-portfolio and manage the relationship with the provider
- Support learner induction, paperwork, and assessments on Smart Assessor, including enrolment forms, initial assessments, and skill scans
**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**
Of course, it’s important that we attract the right skill sets, and those with the right experience but we value character, positivity, and a caring attitude in equal weight.
We welcome people from all walks of life and celebrate individuality as we know diverse minds, experiences and backgrounds help us to learn and better serve our communities. We employ thousands of people from across our community who really care about what they do. Because that is how we do what we do.
And when it comes to inclusion, we’re making sure we keep up the progress with our wonderful working groups - LGBTQ+, Women in Operations & STEM, Disability and Ethnicity, who help us do just that.
**We do more because we care.**
We’re looking for someone who is friendly, supportive and approachable, who has a passion and motivation for learning. To be successful, you’ll have some administration experience and have proficient IT skills, such as Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Teams etc.
You’ll be able to manage your time efficiently with good prioritisation skills, be able to meet deadlines accurately and have excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
A full UK Driving License is needed for this role as it requires some travel.
**HOW WE’LL REWARD AND CARE FOR YOU IN RETURN**
It’s not just a job you’ll get here, you’ll get a career too. We have a range of benefits that reward and recognise great work and award-winning training to ensure you reach your potential.
