Our client is a law firm who are winning work across the Midlands as a result of their exceptional client care policy and their outstanding legal team. They work in all aspects of the law including Family, Private Client, Commercial, Criminal and Conveyancing.
As they grow, they are working with us here at Better People to source an experienced Office Manager/Practice Manager to join their team and run/support their office functions from their Kidlington office.
The right person for this position will have experience in a similar role, perhaps in a professional services setting where compliance is key. They will be great with people, have an understanding of office admin practices, be familiar with all aspects ofrunning offices and generally be experienced at keeping everything running smoothly. The role will involve travel to other branches of the firm across the Midlands so this person will need their own car.
This is a new role so you will report to the Owner Solicitor on a day-to-day basis, leaving them free to concentrate on strategy and delivery of legal work. This person will be
- Will have Office Management experience - ideally in a law /accountancy/ financial services or similar setting.
- Will be highly experienced with all aspects of office administration
- Will have a full understanding of the commercial aspects of running an office
- Will be familiar with HR and training administration
- May have experience of legal billing systems and process
- Will be tech savvy with great IT skills and quick to learn new systems
- Will have MS Office, database/CRM and ideally case management systems experience
- Will be car drivers with own vehicle
- Will be presentable, articulate, flexible, friendly, professional and fun
