This is an opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to maintain and develop the administrative patient pathways in the Musculoskeletal (MSK) Service.

We are looking for an individual, who is an excellent team member, self-motivated and able to make the best use of available technology and resources ensuring the patients administrative journey through the MSK service is informative and efficient.

As part of the Community Health Services Division in Nottinghamshire Healthcare we provide MSK services working within the Mid Nottinghamshire Alliance MSK Pathway, MSK Together.

To lead a team of Pathway Coordinators in the day to day administration of SystmOne/Choose ad Book including all referral and clinic booking systems, including electronic diary maintenance for clinical staff, and to allow the correct implementation of appointment systems and diary maintenance ensuring all patients follow the correct clinical pathway.

Take leadership responsibility for the work carried out by the Patient Pathway coordinator team within MSK.

To provide a comprehensive and co-ordinated administrative referral and clinic booking system for the MSK together service.

Manage S1 and guidelines across multiple sites including other Trusts

Review of Pathway Coordinator staff training needs and ongoing assessment to ensure service needs are met

Receive and register referrals on hospital administration systems e-RS in line with the Trusts Elective Access Policy, ensuring that the Pathway Coordinator team are supported in doing the same.
