**Vehicle Purchase & Disposal Executive - Head Office**

Location: Currie Motors Twickenham

Monday to Friday : 9am to 5.30pm with one hour unpaid lunch break

Salary : £40,000-£45,000 per annum ( including OTE)

**Job Overview**
The Vehicle Purchase & Disposal Executive will support the team in sourcing high-quality used vehicles for our inventory. Working closely with suppliers, auctions, and trade networks, you will ensure we maintain a strong and diverse selection of vehicles that align with market trends and customer needs. You will also be involved in the disposal process for vehicles that do not meet our inventory standards.

**Non-Exhaustive Key Responsibilities**:

- Identify and source used vehicles from a range of suppliers, including auctions, dealerships, and private sellers.
- Evaluate vehicle quality, condition, and pricing to ensure all purchases meet company standards.
- Negotiate purchase terms with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms.
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to understand inventory needs and ensure optimal stock levels.
- Monitor vehicle turnover rates and assist with adjusting procurement based on demand, market trends, and sales forecasts.
- Conduct quality checks on incoming stock and recommend reconditioning as needed.
- Identify vehicles that do not meet sales or quality standards and coordinate their disposal or sell through appropriate channels.
- Maintain records of disposed vehicles for audit and reporting purposes.
- Research trends in the used vehicle market, including model demand, competitive pricing, and seasonal fluctuations.
- Use data insights to assist in making informed purchasing decisions and providing recommendations to the team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and participate in vendor meetings.
- Support the team in negotiating terms that align with budgetary constraints and profit goals.

**Qualifications**
- Proficiency in English is essential
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively for decision-making purposes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions with suppliers and internal teams.
- Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement of vehicles role is advantageous.
- Familiarity with data entry processes and inventory management systems is beneficial.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
