**Job Overview**
A hands-on manager role in a growing independent SaaS and services organisation that helps make a difference in people’s lives. The Head of Marketing will be a playing a vital role. Responsible for growth marketing, strategy and positioning. You will be managing a team in researching, analysing, developing and executing marketing strategies for OLM System’s products & services for both our customer and prospects. You will have ownership for developing and implementing the marketing plan: all communications, event management (internal & external), and working with key strategic partners/sponsors.
We want someone who is able to drive lead generation, track sales data and continuously improve the marketing strategy. Working closely with both sales & product to maximise the value received from the marketing budget (ROI).
**Job Function Tasks and Responsibilities**
- **Ownership**: Own the marketing strategy and targets across all of our market verticals (Local Government and PVO). Provide marketing vision and leadership for all OLM Systems solutions. Create a calendar of campaigns, events, thought leadership pieces and targeted PR initiatives. Working closely with the CEO, Commercial Director, and relevant SMT members on all go-to-market plans.
- **Strategy**: Be the voice of the customer inside OLM. Speak with customers and conduct market research studies, identify what the customers want & need. Implement strategies to influence and educate customers. Actively articulate our solutions and how OLM solves customers current and future challenges.
- **Leadership**: Lead the team that reports to the role and work across our sister companies to ensure joined-up plans, objectives and KPIs are met.
- **Positioning**: Owns company positioning and messaging and works with relevant product and service teams and, most importantly, customers to ensure strong positioning for all our solutions.
- **Lead Generation**: For both our customer base and new prospects, develop and manage the execution and tracking of multichannel demand generation programmes that yield the quality of leads required to deliver the revenue targets.
- **PR and Influencer Relations**: Work independently and alongside out PR Agency to build a Press and Influencer programme.
- **Marketing Performance Management and Budget Management**: Create metrics-driven budget planning, execution, and continuous ROI analysis. Monthly board-level reporting.
- **Data Management**: Work with the CRM team to manage customer and sales data for messaging and campaigns. Analyse sales pipeline within CRM and implement strategies to accelerate revenue generation.
- **Negotiation**: Negotiate with media agencies and secure agreements on high-quality marketing materials and events.
- **Innovation**: Continuously seek to innovate in the field of marketing and our solutions. Create an environment where new ideas and initiatives are generated and implemented
**Experience Required**
- A qualified and experienced (Marketing degree or CIM) marketing professional who is motivated & self-confident and can take the initiative to solve problems as they arise.
- Strong Leadership, Marketing Strategies, Research & Data Analysis, Creativity, Written and Verbal Communications
- People Management Skills
- Strong Project Management.
- Ability to understand the target audiences needs.
- Experience in marketing SaaS & associated services.
- Lead with Empathy / Embrace Change / Act as a Mentor / Celebrate different views / Encourage diversity.
