**Liquor Stock Controller - The Role**:
Are you an experienced Hospitality professional who is looking to take the next step in liquor stock management? We are an award-winning hospitality business with an exciting growth plan and are looking for the missing piece to our Bar Operations Team - a Liquor Stock Manager who will control over £5million of liquor purchases and oversee the control process behind such an important and significant part of the busines.The management and optimisation of the liquor side of our business is fundamental to our growth and we are on the look-out for someone to take the lead with this exciting new role.
Reporting into the Head of Bar Operations you will be responsible for the day to day running of our integrated stock and ordering system. You will be expected to be fully immersed in the data behind the system, provide support on agreeing stocking policies as part of the continual tender processes, analysis reports on sales data, pricing and purchases, as well as working closely with both the sites and the routes-to-market.
**Liquor Stock Controller - Key Responsibilities**:
- Working closely with the Operations and Finance teams towards controlling and achieving the company’s budgeted liquor GP
- Maintain the Procure Wizard database of recipes, site order lists, and all SKU details
- Liaise with the external stock company on annual audits
- Working with the Head of Bar Operations to review all liquor pricing at each menu change
- Providing appropriate routine reports and other relevant data as and when required
- Carry out regular benchmarking exercises
- Contributing to the Drinks Menu development process - to include recipes, pricing and margins
- Involved in the tender process for drinks product range from a brand, product, and commercial basis
- Proof reading all menu content related to the bar
- Develop a strong working relationship with the various routes-to-market for the bar to deliver +95% On-Time In-Full stock availability at all times
- Working with the Head of L&D, to create and deliver relevant liquor training materials
- Have a minimum of 2 years Hospitality Management experience, with an emphasis on stock control and data analysis
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Have excellent attention to detail
- The ability to organise and plan ahead
- The ability be calm under pressure and to be able to react and adapt to changing deadlines and priorities
- Have analytical excellent working knowledge of Excel
- Have an interest and experience in the drinks side of the business from both a site and route-to-market / brand owner perspective
- Experience and strong working knowledge of
- Procure Wizard, and other stock systems
- Tableau, and other reporting systems
- Zonal, and other EPOS systems
- Be highly motivated with ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Have a positive “can do” attitude
- Be able to commute to our Head Office in Teddington daily, but also be able to travel to sites when needed
