Receptionist vacancy at The Croft Surgery

We are looking for up to two receptionists to join our busy team, initially working as a receptionist/care navigator for up to 25 hours a week.

This could be an apprentice or a trainee position.

This position could suit a school leaver or someone older with more workplace experience who is interested in developing a career in a healthcare setting.

Previously, our staff have gone on to develop their careers and train as dispensers, nurses, GP assistants and to work in the hospital and community podiatry teams.

The minimum educational requirements we ask for are a C grade (or equivalent) in GCSE English and Maths.

Essential qualities
- the ability to communicate with patients in person and by telephone and to
- deal with enquiries in respectful manner and an
- awareness of the requirement for patient confidentiality at all times.

All staff are expected to be available to help cover sickness and holiday leave for their colleagues. ( extra paid hours or TOIL as appropriate)

Hours and pay are negotiable depending on experience and availability - it could work as a job share arrangement.
