Experience is necessary, however we do offer **ongoing training** to all new members of the team and **a winning attitude is more important than a lengthy C.V** **Catch** is known for providing **traditional fish and chips** along with **classic seafood dishes** set within a **contemporary dining **environment. We will be **expanding our brand** over the next few years and want to speak to motivated players who will **grow within our business on this exciting journey.** **Job Purpose -** **As a Fryer **you get to oversee the beating heart of the kitchen. You will have bags of stamina and enjoy the fast pace of working in a kitchen. You also need to be able to stay calm and work as part of a team during a frenetic service. As a fryer you need to be confident enough to manage the demands of the busy take-away and supply the needs of the restaurant, often while giving clear instructions to fellow fryers and maintaining clear communication with team members on the counter.. PHEW **Key Responsibilities -** Along with the usual skills & responsibilities required for a role of this nature from an applicant of your caliber, we also require: - You to be an A-TEAM player - Embracing our A-Team culture - Proudly producing the best fish & chips for miles around. - Managing stock & defrost levels and processes - Preparing of all produce for section - cooking fried items to order - Managing and training any junior fryers working with you - Helping the team with the day to day running of the kitchen - Ensuring you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety - Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins **What hours will you work** - Approximately 45hrs a week, but as its paid hourly so you will be paid for every hour you work - A combination of days evenings weekends & holidays - You wont work Christmas day & Boxing day **The Good Bits** - Holding your own throughout and serving quality fish & chips every time - All the new skills you will learn - All the training you will receive - Helping build and being part of an awesome team of like minded people **The bad bits** - It can busy on the range, especially on a Friday teatime - There is a lot of prep to do,’ but hey’ at least we have a machine to peel spuds **What skills will you have...** - Great frying skills - A cool head - An ability to delegate appropriately Thank you for your interest in Catch Seafood, we look forward to hearing from you **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: Up to £12.00 per hour Schedule: - 10 hour shift - 12 hour shift - Monday to Friday
