A well-known and established Health Safety and Fire Team are looking for a Health Safety and Fire Consultant to join their Health Safety and Fire team.
This role will lead on a range of risk, and health safety and fire projects across a wide variation of premises to agreed quality, costs and timescales.
Projects will include the design and implementation of Health Safety and Fire Management Systems, Inspections, Auditing, and leading and providing support on other Risk & Safety Projects, HRRB, as well as commercial properties when required.
**The Role**
- Provide high quality technical consultancy to clients
- Keep abreast of current legislation, relevant national and international standards and guidelines and technical developments within the relevant field
- To respond to requests for client work and proposals
- Ensure the use of the technical tools and methodologies in delivery of projects to the standard set
- Support junior members of staff in delivery of consultancy services and ensure their compliance with site safety practices where site work is undertaken
**The Health Safety and Fire Consultant**
- NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent
- NEBOSH Fire certificate or equivalent
- IOSH membership
- Working towards member of IFSM, IFE, IIRSM
- Significant experience in a H&S, Fire role operating under an established Health and Safety and Fire Management System
- Operational site experience
- Strong analytical and report writing skills
**In return?**
- Salary - £45,000-65,000 experience dependent
- Bonus of equivalent 2-3% salary after probation passed plus
- 23-25 days holidays depending on level
