About the Role Position: Health and Safety Consultant Salary: £52K + car allowance (£4K) + excellent benefits package. Location: Home-based (within a one hour commute of Manchester) Travel: Access to a car and regular travel to clients across the North West (typically 3 days per week at client sites), team meetings and occasional travel and nights away to clients in other regions across the UK. What We're Looking For Experience: Minimum five years in a health and safety consultancy role, at least CertIOSH level or equivalent. Ideally with exposure to sectors such as education, commercial property, social housing and construction. Qualities: Passion for improving workplace safety, health, and wellbeing. Genuine curiosity and interest in helping clients operate at their best. Ambition and capability to develop towards lead consultant roles and beyond An interest in growing your technical ability and associated areas of risk management, such as fire safety. Pragmatic and flexible approach to customer service. Interest in technology and digitalisation in the workplace. Excellent writing skills for high-quality audits and reports. Confidence to develop and deliver engaging presentations and training. Great people skills and ability to influence and promote a safe and healthy workplace.
