**The Opportunity**

Finatal are currently retained on a search for a FP&A director for a large-cap Software business. The business has recently acquired Private Equity backing and with this, seek to undergo their next stage of growth. With more significant investment, the businessaims to uphold its position as market leaders through a period of aggressive expansion. This will be seen through the acquisition of competitors and diversification of their current product portfolio.

**The Role**
- Creating a best-in-class, scalable PE backed FP&A function to support a business undertaking an aggressive growth strategy.
- Total ownership of the board reporting, partnering with the CFO and CEO on presenting analysis to Private Equity Backers.
- Developing Financial Planning models from scratch, both short and long term to support expansion activity.
- Being a true business partner to all parts of the business, specifically sales and operations to deliver KPI’s to build a robust foundation for growth.
- Supporting and adding value to the CFO and board with regards to M+A activity, from initial sourcing right through to completion.
- Hands on and dynamic mindset to promote commercial thinking within the team, autonomy to identify and execute potential revenue drivers and cost savers.
- Upskill and build on an established 3-person team, maximising both potential and efficiency in the function.

**The Requirements**
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) who is 3-10 years post qualified preferably.
- Experienced Excel user, ability to use systems such as Power BI to create dashboards for reporting.
- Hands on, communicative approach with immaculate presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- SaaS Experience essential.
