My client, part of a 55 strong UK software group across many vertical markets, are well established within the Payments/Direct Debit industry having been running for over 20 years and on an upward curve in terms of growth and ambitions. **Position**: As a result of an internal promotion, we are seeking an experienced, partner sales professional. You will drive the partner channel to become the predominant source of new name business. Existing partners and internal group brands require managing and developmentwhilst new name partners need to be identified, closed and integrated. This position is a remote role with some occasional travel to customers and offices. It will also offer some flexibility on hours to fit in with lifestyle needs. **Responsibilities**: Internal Partnership Strategies - Develop relationships across the group to grow the payments revenue for both parties - Create strategic plans to support and grow brands referring or reselling our products and services - Educate sister companies sales teams to sell our solutions, whilst often providing support on calls and proposals when needed - Form targets in order to hold sister companies accountable for performance, subsequently enabling you to provide internal forecasts for new name revenue External Partnership Strategies - Research for partner prospects that fit with the strengths of the company - Create win-win commercials and solutions that drive payment sales into the company, referral relationships, reseller relationships or white-label relationships Existing Partnership Management - Take ownership for the growth of circa 30 existing partnerships, of which most have been with the company for over 3 years - Review and approve the existing commission payments to partners ensuring the data is correct - Work with the Sales Analyst the created partner reporting to show attrition or revenue growth trends **Job Qualifications**: - Proven experience of partner sales within the payments OR direct debit OR software solutions space - Previous experience in working with partnerships or resellers is necessary - Strong Account Management skills but must also be able to prospect to generate new partnership opportunities - Able to implement a sales process to take control of the sale through to implementation - Experience using CRM’s to track pipeline and forecast results - A high degree of initiative and self-motivation to work autonomously producing highly accurate work or as part of a team on projects - Excellent written, verbal and presentation communications skills - Good understanding of technology and how it is applied in business - A good degree of computer literacy and technical competency - Strong presenting skills delivering presentations to senior level executives - Results driven with the credibility to influence at all levels and the ability to think outside the box to identify potential opportunities. **Personal Characteristics**: - Will have a tenacious, optimistic, "can do", solutions-driven approach that is both pragmatic and commercially viable - Excellent team player, with strong demonstrable evidence of influencing and negotiating skills as well as the ability to forge strong internal and external working relationships - Strong organisational and time management skills - Ambitious, hardworking and excellent communicator with a proven track record of engaging and partnering with key stakeholders - High degree of self-motivation - Energy and enthusiasm - Honesty and integrity - Strong customer service mindset - Professionalism and persistence with the ability to overcome obstacles and setbacks. A real 'relationship building' sales role focused on partner and channel development.
