SDR Living are looking for a Night Porter / Receptionist to join our team in Eastbourne, BN21.
On behalf of Eastbourne Council, we provide short term accommodation and support for local families and individuals that find themselves homeless. SDR is a new and growing residential landlord who already have a reputation for providing a high standard of welfare support. The successful applicant will maintain and strive to improve these standards further.
**The Role**
As a trusted member of our team, you will assist in the delivery of an evening / night porter / reception service to our residents.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Dealing with resident enquiries and providing an excellent evening reception and night porter service
- Answering the telephone and processing room bookings from the council
- Checking in and checking out residents
- Implementing night security systems, ensuring the overall safety and security of the scheme
- Meeting the requirements of health and safety policies and practices
- Effectively dealing with anti-social behaviour
- Working hours will be on a rolling 3 week pattern, averaging 36.6 hours per week.
- Shift times vary in this working pattern they are either 09:00-21:00, 17:00-23:00, 17:00-9:00, 21:00-9:00, or 23:00-9:00. Overtime is available to cover sickness and holidays
