Due to internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Channel Strategy Controller to join our Commercial team, on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, responsible for the development and execution of channel strategy and relevant trading approaches,to drive WFC brands and Customer Brands within the Grocery, Discounters, Convenience, Wholesale (including Out of Home), Value channel, eCommerce channels and emerging routes to market, whilst focusing on commercial growth, sales and profit targets. You will:

- Ensure we have the right range in place to deliver against our plan, including the right pack and case architecture for each brand across all channels, whilst considering complexity into and out of our manufacturing operations
- Own the Channel Strategy process, aligned to Category Strategy and integrated within the ICP (Integrated Commercial Planning) process
- Define 'channels’ and devise appropriate trading approaches for each of these, ensuring adoption of these trading approaches across Commercial, In-Store Excellence and Category teams as an enabler to deliver against budgeted profit targets, feeding intoaccount level plans
- Develop specific strategies for 'focus channels’ when required e.g., OOH, ecommerce
- Be responsible for the ongoing engagement in specific channel opportunities throughout the ICP process

Participate in relevant cross-functional workstreams / teams where channel requirement input is required

**Requirements** You will ideally have a robust understanding of the total retail/wholesale market - category and commercially focused, be a strategic thinker with the ability to 'bring the outside in’, have excellent influencing and communication skills at all levels ofbusiness, and be organised and driven to achieve results. With a natural ability to manage multiple tasks and a diverse workload, you will be able to work on your own initiative, be proactive and action orientated, able to challenge the status quo, and collaborateacross multiple business functions to drive change.
