**Warehouse Manager**

**Location: Thurrock (RM20 3AW)**

**Contract type: Full time/Permanent**

**Hours: Monday - Friday (7am - 5pm) some flexibility required**

**Salary: From £30,000 (Negotiable)**

Do you have managerial experience? Are you a supervisor or team leader looking to move up? We have an exciting new role at our Harrow Green site in Thurrock for a warehouse manager. Within this role we are looking for someone to receive and distribute client’sassets, take on the leadership of the warehouse team and deal with the day-to-day running of the warehouse operations.

You will report directly to Head of Warehouse Operations and will be responsible for a team of 5 in the warehouse. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

**Responsibilities**
- Processing & picking orders (from internal and external warehouses)
- Operating IT Systems (Stock Control, Microsoft Office etc )
- Administering Stock Control and Stock Checks.
- Taking deliveries and ensuring paperwork matches items being delivered.
- Meeting targets and deadlines set by management.
- Ensuring the Warehouse is kept to a clean and presentable standard.
- Maintaining Warehouse by initiating, coordinating, managing, and enforcing Warehouse operations and enforcing company policies.
- Monitoring security and health and safety procedures (daily and weekly checks).

About You
- Punctual with good time management skills.
- FLT Counterbalance and Reach required
- Driving Licence Required
- Managerial/Supervisory or Team Leader experience
- Strong knowledge of warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ability to manage staff.
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and able to lift on a daily basis
- Good understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace (training can be provided).
