**About this Role**

MK City Health is seeking a Receptionist/Clinic Assistant to work within our newly opening, family-run healthcare clinic of Chiropractors, Physiotherapists and Sport Massage Therapists. Our clinic is located within Aurora House which is a modern business centre in central Milton Keynes, within walking distance of Central MK train station and has free and convenient parking.

**Working Hours**:
**We are currently offering 3-4 shifts per week. 2 x afternoon/evening shifts, 1 x morning/afternoon shifts and 1 in 4 Saturdays (see below for shift explanation). There is also plenty of opportunity for holiday cover/overtime. The hours may differ initially, as we get our new clinic up and running.**
- Monday-Thursday shifts are either 8:45am-2pm (morning/afternoon shift) or 2pm-8pm (afternoon/evening shift). Friday shifts are either 8:45am-1pm or 1pm-6:15pm. Saturday shift is 8:45am-1:15pm (clinic closes at 1:15pm on a Saturday)
- Due to the nature of the business the working hours are variable but working days typically remain set
- Flexibility is required to assist with covering colleague’s holiday which provides an opportunity to increase earnings

**Essential Requirements**:

- Great communicator and team player
- Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
- Sound English (particularly spelling) and Mathematical ability.
- Computer literate with reasonable typing speed
- Be enthusiastic and proactive with the confidence and tolerance to deal with members of the public and staff at all levels.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and respond to changes in a busy clinic environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and to defined timescales
- Pays close attention to detail

**Desirable**:

- Previous receptionist or clinic assistant experience
