We are looking for a new Veterinary Receptionist to join our innovative team and journey of success.
This is a permanent Veterinary Receptionist role working 35 hours per week plus 1:4 Saturdays with a share in Bank Holidays on a rota basis. Our opening hours are 8am-8pm Monday to Friday and 8am-5pm Saturdays. We are looking for someone who has the flexibility to provide cover for holidays and sickness.
As a receptionist you will provide a friendly, efficient and professional service to our clients and their animals. You will need to be able to work well both within a team and independently, sometimes under high pressure.
Previous veterinary receptionist experience would be preferable but not essential.
Main duties would include:
- Answering the telephone, booking appointments and processing prescription requests
- Dealing with clients at the reception desk, taking payments and dealing with enquiries
- Assisting with insurance claim processing and answering insurance based queries
- Accurately recording client and animal information on our IT system, so good IT skills would be preferable
- Cleaning duties are involved
