Are you somebody who is open to new opportunities, works to achieve high standards and is customer focused? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Planner to join our repairs and maintenance division working in a hybrid style between home and out Stoke or Leicester offices.

Who are we:
This role is working in partnership with Mears for Riverside Direct who are part of a wholly owned subsidiary of the Riverside Group who provide services to 6,000 homes across the Central region of England.

What we are looking for:
A proactive and experienced planner who is ready to tackle any challenge that is thrown at you. It's a busy but fun environment working within a small team of planners.

What you will be doing day to day:

- Making and receiving call
- Making appointments
- Taking responsibility for the planning and scheduling of our trade operatives' work, delivering response repairs and maintenance to our clients.
- Liaising with supervisors, operational colleagues, customers, and subcontractors
- Ability to investigate, evaluate and respond to situations quickly in an ever-changing environment
- Ensuring clients repairs are diagnosed correctly and the correct operative is dispatched to ensure a first-time fix approach

What you need to have:

- Strong communication and customer service skills. A lot of your time will be spent speaking with trade operatives, residents, management, and contractors.
- IT proficient
- Previous experience in a fast-paced office environment.
- Ability to load and maintain data for PDA (training will be given)
- Organisational skills necessary to manage and organise own and trade operative’s workload.
- The ability to communicate effectively at levels commensurate with role, both verbally and in writing.
- The ability to respond to changing priorities in order to meet deadlines.
