We're looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised individual who can support the Commercial Project Manager (PM) & Food & Beverage (F&B) project team for Midlands and North area, to deliver F&B projects of varying scale & complexity. You'll be providing coordination, tracking and data management expertise in support of the delivery of multiple F&B projects.

- Conversions of heritage buildings such as historic stable blocks.

- Working alongside a dynamic team of expert consultants including planning specialists, archaeologists, and ecologists
You're joining the team in an exciting time of growth and will be pivotal in supporting the Commercial PM to deliver at F&B projects at pace - the programme is gearing up rapidly and will be delivering a large pipeline of future expansion & development for F&B across the Midlands & North. This role offers the flexibility to work from home, as well as also being able to access National Trust hub offices.
What you'll be doing:Reporting to the Commercial Project Manager (PM), you'll be responsible for maintaining project documentation, tracking the programme and communicating with the wider project team and stakeholders. Building strong relationships both internally and externally, sharing learning, identifying opportunities and working collaboratively. Because of this, you'll need to be creative, resourceful, have great initiative, being able to work with a range of different people and organisations. Effectively supporting the monitoring of progress, the preparation and compiling of project reports, you'll be arranging, attending and minuting key project meetings.
Working with others to prompt the planning of resources within the project and support the budgeting process, you'll collate and provide the necessary tracking and analysis of management information to support the PM and the effective decision-making process. Supporting the preparation of key documents, you'll regularly report on the progress of the project against budgets, programme of work and funds committed. Following financial processes and maintaining record-keeping to ensure accountability, you'll ensure a clear audit trail is maintained for all decisions and activities undertaken within the projects that you are supporting. Because of the nature of the role, there will be potential opportunities to lead on various elements of project delivery. Supporting project communications, to maintain relations with external project partners and stakeholders, you'll need to ensure everyone understands the progress of the project.
Who we're looking forAs someone experienced in working in the project management environment, you'll have:
- Excellent organisational abilities and planning skills.
- Knowledge of budgets, finance tracking and reporting.
- Experience of project tracking and delivery.
- Good analytical skills and attention to accuracy and detail.
- Experience of data management, analysis and the preparation of associated reports and presentations.
- Strong practical experience with using IT, particularly Excel.
- Experience of providing facilitation and support to others, with the ability to work well both within a team and in cross-functional team working.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and to prioritise based on the demands of others
