We are inspired by **developing Centres of Excellence** at every one of our practices - focused family dentistry and our patients’ specialist needs such as dental implants and orthodontics. **The Amersham Team** Our Dentalcare team in Amersham is situated within a minutes’ walk from the Underground and Railway Station and offers good links and regular services into Harrow, Wembley and Baker Street, Denham, High Wycombe and Chesham. The practice is situated in a building located on a busy main road in Amersham close to all the main shops and restaurants in the centre of Amersham with a large Multi Storey car park nearby. There are four surgeries, one on the ground and three on the first floor, a separate decontamination area, digital X-Rays and separate staff room with all the facilities you will need for your breaks. The practice includes a range of services - Private, Specialist and some NHS- including Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Periodontics, General and Hygienist services. **The Role & Responsibilities** - Ensure all practice equipment and supplies are suitably maintained and supplied in order to allow for uninterrupted delivery of services. - To motivate all members of the team to ensure that morale of the team is maintained to allow for each member to reach their individual potential as part of that team. - To ensure a safe, clean and professional environment for patients, employees, associates and contractors. - Ensuring compliance with CQC, HTM01-05 and any other regulation/legislation required to run a dental practice. - Ensure that all aspects of practice operations and procedures comply with the Operating Manual and HR Manual Access to treatment - to ensure that access of patients to treatment is suitable to patient needs. This includes all absence and provision of suitable dental cover for such times, should this be practical Provide the HR department with all necessary information for employees and Associate contractual updates and compliance. - Management information and reports regarding employees is supplied regularly and as-and-when required. - Absenteeism from work by any employee is reported to payroll for salary alterations as and when necessary on a monthly basis. - Assist with the recruit and select new employees following procedures and ensure new employees are inducted, trained efficiently, in receipt of a job description and probation is reviewed regularly. - Ensure receipt of correct documentation prior to starting e.g. CRB, GDC, and identity checking etc, for compliance. - Organising of locum/temp cover to minimise financial impact of clinical and administrative employee absence. - Assist with the management of employees and Associates to ensure internal relationships within the practice are effective. **The Working Hours** - This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours over 5 days, Monday to Friday. - May be required to work the occasional Saturday. - The start date for this role would ideally be as soon as possible. **About You** - You will be a Qualified Dental Nurse and registered with the GDC - Be an organised individual who is able to multi task and prioritise the needs of a busy practice - It is important that you are a personable, positive, and enthusiastic professional - and that you **want to** put patients’ interest first. - You will have an ability to work in a team, whilst highly capable to mentor and manage others. **Benefits for you** - We provide an excellent remuneration package, payment based on experience - Up to 28 days paid holiday per year (inclusive of bank holidays, pro rata) - A pension scheme to help you plan for the future - You will be supported by our Practice Manager to make sure you get the right training and development to be successful.
