**Purpose of Job**

As the Training Coordinator at Ashridge Home Care, you have the important job of making sure that our clients receive the very highest standard of service at all times.

Day to day you will be responsible for managing all training aspects of the day to day running of Ashridge. You will enable carer’s to feel confident and competent in their role by providing outstanding training and great service. You will help the businessto flourish and grow by improving our training processes and problem-solving barriers to growth and efficiency.

Our carer’s will feel valued with you managing their training, enabling them to receive the right training at the right time and feel confident in your ability to manage their queries or concerns in a timely manner.

As a valued member of the team, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and Managing Director.

**Responsibilities**
- Training and developing carers to provide exceptional care.
- Responsibility for the carer training and induction process.
- Maintaining our central training matrix and supporting staff with refresher training.
- Provide insights on best practice and ensure the continuous development of the team.
- Travelling to client’s homes in Buckinghamshire to provide carers with update training where required.
- Reporting on key metrics and performance.
- Be open to undertaking any other tasks as and when required.

**Knowledge and Experience**
- Proven record of working in training with a minimum of three years’ experience in healthcare / social care training.
- Effective communication skills, articulate and good written communication.
- A strong understanding of exceptional training and service.

- An adaptive person who can quickly learn new technologies.

**Essential for the role**
- Currently hold Level 3 Award in Education and Training (PTLLS).
- In-date and valid Moving and Handling train the trainer.
- A proficient level of experience and confidence using Microsoft Excel and E-Learning Platforms.
- Previous experience of teaching/training within a health and social care setting.
- Flexible and adaptable to the required working pattern for the business needs.

**Benefits**
- Competitive Salary of up to £33,000 per annum pro-rata (2 days per week required).
