**Summary**:

- As a Data Protection Coordinator, you will work within the Assurance pillar to support the Data Protection and Security Lead in ensuring that UKSV remains compliant with relevant legislation and Cabinet Office policy.**Job description**:

- Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all UKSV information is stored, governed and exploited in accordance with Policy
- Assist in the investigation and reporting of any data loss incidents to the ICO
- Deliver training and updates on Data Protection to UKSV staff
- Assist with the drafting of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA’s)
- Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice within UKSV.

The incumbent will also be expected to undertake additional duties/tasking associated with both role and grade. Requests to work flexibly will be considered, taking into account business needs.**Responsibilities**:

- As a Data Protection Coordinator within UK Security Vetting, we are looking for people who can positively contribute to the team and be able to support us with the continued growth within the department.
- We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual, who is keen to learn and provide innovation in information Management. Additionally, You will also need to:
- Have good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Have excellent attention to detail;
- Have a capacity for development and commitment to developing your skills if required;
- Be able to work collaboratively to manage information on behalf of our organisation
- Experience in working within a Data protection role previously would be advantageous-
