- As a Data Protection Coordinator, you will work within the Assurance pillar to support the Data Protection and Security Lead in ensuring that UKSV remains compliant with relevant legislation and Cabinet Office policy.**Job description**:

- Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all UKSV information is stored, governed and exploited in accordance with Policy
- Assist in the investigation and reporting of any data loss incidents to the ICO
- Deliver training and updates on Data Protection to UKSV staff
- Assist with the drafting of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA’s)
- Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice within UKSV.

The incumbent will also be expected to undertake additional duties/tasking associated with both role and grade. Requests to work flexibly will be considered, taking into account business needs.**Responsibilities**:

- Experience in working within a Data protection role previously would be advantageous-

Please note that this role requires DV clearance, which would normally need 10 years’ UK residency in the past 10 years. This is not an absolute requirement, but supplementary checks may be needed where individuals have not lived in the UK for that period.
