**What to expect**

Our thriving Data Protection Team provide data protection and compliance advice, including fully outsourced Data Protection Services, to a wide range of sectors including technology, healthcare, research & development, retail, education, professional services, charity, logistics, residential care and beyond. We are looking for a DPO to support our growing outsourced DPO service. In this role you can expect to work closely with clients in support of their ongoing data protection needs. This will include advising on:

- Data protection gap analysis’
- Creating and supporting execution of data protection compliance plans
- Advising on UK & international data sharing & data processing arrangements
- Data protection impact assessments and managing risk for new processing activities
- Data Protection related notices, policies and registers
- Delivery of client training
- Subject Access and other requests
- Legal research on complex data protection issues

**What we’re looking for**
- Data Protection/Privacy Officer acting as or supporting a DPO
- Building and sustaining strong client relationships
- All aspects of UK data protection law
- European and international data protection law;
- Data Protection Impact Assessments
- Gap analysis and data mapping exercises;
- Personal data breaches
- Design and delivery of data protection training
- Drafting privacy notices, policies and register
- Advising on marketing and security practices.
- An ability to quickly develop a full understanding of multiple client information systems and their data security and data protection needs.
- An EU or UK -GDPR or CIPP/E qualification is ideal but not essential
