Our Chorley site are now recruiting for a Stock Controller** **on a full time basis.
**Salary**:£24,150 Per annum
Working hours**:Rotating shifts (06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00)
**Job Description**:
The purpose of a Stock Controller is to play a vital role in maintaining the stock integrity within the warehouse. With an eye for detail and excellent investigative skills you will already have stock control experience and knowledge of WMS. Teamwork, communication and tenacity are key attributes, whilst the ability to work pro-actively on your own initiative is also vital to the success of our department.
**Key Responsibilities of a** Stock Controller**:
- Inputting all pre-advises of inbound goods accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicating any stock amendments and pre-advice within agreed timescales to the customer to effect a speedy resolution.
- Carrying out physical stock checks as and when required and ensure that any stock anomalies are investigated thoroughly.
- Ensuring all incidents logged and responded to within the agreed timescales.
- Checking there are no incoming / missing pallets over 48hrs old.
- Develop individuals within the team, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
- Ensuring that all relevant KPI reporting documents are correctly maintained.
- Generating pick notes, delivery and post picking documentation accurately and in line with operational time windows.
- Liaising with Customer Services and Transport to ensure all uplifts are planned and timely return to store.
- Ensuring ISO requirements are fully satisfied.
- Responsible for recording purchase orders and uniform log.
**Qualifications**:
- Competent in verbal and numerical reasoning.
- Attention to detail / accurate.
- Self-starter / able to use own initiative.
- Confident in analysing and acting on data.
- Conscientious and reliable.
- Willing to work shifts.
- PC Literate (Excel and Word or Equivalent).
- Ideally have working knowledge of a Warehouse Management Systems.
- Ability to deal with changes in priority and can prioritise a number of activities & remain effective.
- Effective communicator who continuously demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
