**Service Charge Accountant, Central London W1G - £35,000**
A leading Real Estate Agent in Central London is seeking a Service Charge Accountant to
experience working in the real estate industry, specifically with residential and medical properties. This role is perfect for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has
excellent communication skills.

Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce annual budgets for service charges, as directed by the Property Manager, for Director approval and update lessee statements accordingly.
- Send quarterly or half-yearly service charge demands, based on the leaseholder's service charge apportionment.
- Maintain accurate leaseholder information, such as contact details and address, and inform the Property Manager of any changes.
- Provide individual leaseholder statements upon request.
- Update cash sheets and lessee statements with payments received and check for arrears 14 days after the service charge due date.
- Initiate collections and add a charge of E100 to accounts of non-paying leaseholders after 21 days.
- Prepare one-off extra demands for major works or emergency works and track payments received.
- Collaborate with the Property Manager to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.

Software Used: Blockman

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in property management, service charge accounting, and bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with Blockman software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
