Service Charge Accountant - One of London's leading Real Estate Investment business, is looking to recruit a Service Charge Accountant to take responsibility for the management of the portfolio of service chargeable properties and will be expected to ensurethat year end reconciliations are completed according to RICS regulations. Key Task include:

- Preparation of annual service charge budgets,
- Completion of year end closure and billing of balancing service charges to tenants
- Preparation of year end service charge reconciliations including invoice collation, analysis of income and expenditure, journals and accruals
- Manage a portfolio of service chargeable properties
- Preparation of quarterly analysis of service charges in required format
- Preparation of annual service charge budgets, apportionments and on accounts calculation
- Review leases to ensure that correct apportionments are applied
- Preparation of year end service charge reconciliations including invoice collation, analysis of income and expenditure, journals and accruals
- Liaison with Asset Managers, Building Managers, External Management Agents
- Review and code invoices according to programme
- Complete year end closure and billing of balancing service charges to tenants.
- Monitor cost on a regular basis and compare against budgets
- Reconcile demised utility recharges based on collated meter readings and post journals to credit service charge liability.
- Respond to tenant queries in a timely manner

The position will suit an experienced Service Charge Accountant Applicants will commercial property exposure. Strong communication skills and IT knowledge is also key. This is an excellent opportunity to join this dynamic property business.
