**RETAIL LINE LEADER- Butchery**

**RLLB/11/22**

**Job Role**:

- Responsible for leading the team within your department in retail production to achieve targets set by the Retail Butchery Supervisor / Manager
- Responsible for ensuring that your department is fully trained
- Responsible for ensuring that all products are produced to customers specifications and quality standards and all quality protocols and procedures are followed
- Responsible for ensuring that you and your department meet all hygiene standards and health and safety requirements and take appropriate action as required
- Ensure all KPIs and other targets are achieved within your department
- Recording and providing relevant information as required for the supervisors and management
- Liaising with relevant personnel and other departments to ensure plans are accurate and achievable while ensuring all efficiencies are maintained
- Be flexible to assist other areas as and when required
- To ensure the integrity of our products, customers and brands is always maintained, as suitable to the role and defined in relevant procedures.

**To be considered for this position you must have**:

- Experience from similar role in a production environment is essential
- Experience of training and motivating a team of people is essential
- A third level qualification in a relevant discipline would be desirable
- Hands on approach to solving problems and achieving results is a must
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and reporting skills
- Sound practical knowledge of a production environment
- IT experience is essential including word, excel and outlook
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Ability to be highly flexible with regards working hours which involves evening & weekend work and flexible to work between different areas
