Based at our Leeds office, you will be part of the Customer Care Team of Service Coordinators who support our UK and European customers, to ensure continuity of performance of their site equipment. You will manage a team of 4/5 regional Mechanical/Electrical service engineers to provide scheduled and breakdown services.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Take ownership of the planning of customer service visits to ensure a complete service is provided to meet the customers individual service agreements.
- Manage the supply & despatch of service parts, consumables and spares as required on site
- Organise resources to deal with equipment breakdown to minimise downtime for customers.
- Keep updated planning systems, job costing systems and tickets systems to ensure the latest status of work is reflected.
- Log and keep records of customer/employee queries (JITBIT Ticket system)
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure continuity of information in relation to pre-planned or work in progress, to ensure all problems are resolved in a timely manner
- Ensure all costs are correctly recorded on jobs prior to invoicing.
- Manage and react to service reports which require follow up actions.
- Generate quotes for repair work and communicate to customers as required
- Liaise with the Technical Support Team to ensure equipment breakdowns are resolved in a timely manner.
- Develop good working relationships with Service Engineers, customers’ and suppliers
- Manage and sign off expense claims from Service Engineers
- Manage holiday requests from Service Engineers and ensure appropriate cover is planned.
- Plan and manage the use of sub-contractors as required to enable the support of any planned maintenance work.
- Raise purchase orders for replacement equipment and sub-contractors.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks using the ticketing system
- Ensure all safety procedures and business standards/regulations are followed and upheld at all times and without exception
- Work with your departmental manager and team members to identify, implement and drive actions for continuous improvement
**Essential Skills and Experience**:
- Experience of working within a Customer Care support role
- A Technical Mechanical/Electrical background
- Strong focus on customer relationship with the ability to interact confidently
- Excellent communication skills being able to listen and question
- Ability to communicate in a clear concise manner both verbally and written at all levels
- Ability to problem solve effectively.
- Ability to work on own initiative or equally as part of a team, with minimum or no supervision (when trained)
- Flexible approach to duties in accordance with the requirements of the business
**Qualifications**:
- GCSE English Language and Maths or equivalent
- Full clean driving licence
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm, 37.5 hours per week.
**Holiday Entitlement**:
23 days on commencement, 3 of which are specifically to be used during the Christmas shutdown period, plus normal Statutory entitlement of 8 days Bank Holiday. An additional 5 days of annual leave can be earned with service.
**Pension Scheme**:
5% contribution from the employee and 3% contribution from the Company.
**Life Assurance**:
6 times annual salary after 6 months service.
