It is essential that you can evidence previous experience working with young people developing motivation, resilience and strategy development with a good knowledge of Safeguarding, The Prevent Duty, Fundamental British Values, sexual health and relationships. Facilitating young people to overcome barriers to learning or achieving goals such as health, mental health, disability socio/economic disadvantage with excellent Problem solving and taking action to keep a young person focussed on their goal and motivate them.

To be considered for the role you will need to hold a Level 3 qualification or equivalent in youth work or working with adolescents. Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent) or commitment to gaining and evidence of continued professional development with an ability to demonstrate a passion for working with children and vulnerable adults.

**Full Time, 37 hours per week, Term Time Only.**

**Actual salary £18,092 (FTE £22,250)**
