We have an exciting opportunity for a **Facilities Operative**to join our team.

Due to continued success and the growth of the business, we are looking to employ a full time (40 Hours per week) Facilities Operative/Handy Person to work within the Facilities Maintenance team working across our many sites in Surrey Sussex and Hampshire.

You will be working alongside local tradespersons and ensuring high standards are maintained.
- Ideally, you already have your own tools, a great knowledge of general maintenance, repair and property; you’re keen to learn more and develop your skills
- Enthusiastic, confident and warm; you like working in an environment where things move and flex; you know how to manage a range of priorities
- Supremely reliable, you always ensure every job is completed to the highest standard
- Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering high standards for our customers and colleagues, in line with the Richmond brand
- You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
- A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail

**Experience Required**:

- Painting and decorating to a high standard
- Current and valid full & clean driving licence
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
- Physically capable of moving equipment
- Rubbish clearance from both domestic and commercial properties
- Able to work alone, assessing work requirements and communicate back to line manager with your analysis
- Previous experience working in the building industry (desirable)
- Relevant industry qualifications (desirable)
- Working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical (desirable)

Pay: £32,000.00 per year
