Facilities & Maintenance Manager Aerospace SectorLocation: Portsmouth UKSalary: Up to 70000 DOE25 days BH 9 day working fortnightThe Company:My client is an Aerospace organisation involved in the design manufacturing certification and services for mission-critical equipment.They support both civil and military operators working closely with OEMs and maintenance facilities. This is an organisation who has been established for 50 years a global leader in mission-critical equipment operating in over 120 countries.The RoleAs the Site Services Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the site operations and addition you will maintain a safe working environment which is operational and compliant with industry regulations/Your Responsibilities:Establish and maintain security protocols managing contractors conducting audits and liaising with both internal and external stakeholdersBe responsible for implementing and maintaining energy management systems waste management whilst ensuring compliance with regulationsFacilities Maintenance & Infrastructure Management you will oversee CMMS implementation managing facility-related costs and coordinating maintenance activitiesLeadership responsibility of a small team of maintenance engineersManagement of contracts including cleaning contractors as well as inspecting the facility to ensure standards are adhered toYour Background:A background working within a similar role in a manufacturing environment ideally withing Aerospace or similar.Previously managed budgets and held responsibility for financial planning.Communication and Leadership is key to this role.
