**Marketing Assistant - Europe**

The role of **Marketing Assistant -** Europe is to provide support to the Marketing and Communications Manager, ensuring that all marketing activities and translations are efficiently administrated. You will liaise with all departments withinthe company.

**Duties (include but are not limited to)**:

- Liaising with translation suppliers to co-ordinate all European translations
- Assisting with events/exhibitions across Europe, liaising with suppliers and event managers, supporting representatives with travel arrangements, accommodation bookings and other requirements
- Liaising with the European and global marketing teams to ensure that all support materials are up-to-date and available in the correct languages and formats
- Ensuring that hard copies of sales support materials and product support materials are available where required
- Supporting the Marketing and Communications Manager in editing and updating marketing materials as required - in all key languages
- Co-ordinating events/exhibitions, liaising with suppliers and event managers, supporting representatives with travel arrangements, accommodation bookings and other requirements
- Supporting the company’s sales team to ensure they have the correct sales and product support collateral
- Supporting distribution partners, responding in a timely manner to any marketing requests and ensuring they have the correct access to marketing/product collateral
- Maintaining competitor comparisons, industries database and other ongoing documentation

**Person Specification**:

- Minimum 2-3 years’ marketing experience, agency
- or client-side
- Experience co-ordinating exhibition stands and promotional events
- Excellent written and spoken English. Proficiency in one or more EU languages highly desirable
- You demonstrate advanced verbal and written business communication skills that are clear, concise, and professional
- You are organised and have the ability to successfully multi-task, shift priorities in a dynamic working environment and have an excellent eye for detail
- You have a good understanding of translation and desktop publishing processes
- You have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop highly desirable
- Experience of international business, and supporting customers/partners outside the UK preferred
- You are outgoing, courteous, ambitious, and presentable with a professional demeanour
- You are able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and co-workers
- You possess strong business acumen
- You have excellent time management and organisation skills
- Proven administration skills
- You are a team player who offers solutions and ideas to continually improve the business
