Robert Half are currently working with a truly global luxury brand based near Frome (BA2). Our client is seeking an interim **Project Accountant for a 4-5 month assignment**.

This large and well-respected global brand require a day rate contractor to support during what is a very busy period to provide cover working directly with the Finance Director you will assist hands on with the month end management accounts, balance sheetand cashflow forecasting.

**Job Title** Interim Project Accountant

**Location**: Frome - (BA2 postcode)

**Rate**: £280-£350pd (depending on experience, via Umbrella)

**Work basis**:Hybrid - 2-3 days in the office

**Duration**: 4-5 months (day rate contractor)

**Interim job role**:

- Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts, including
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Cashflow forecasting
- Support maintaining Finance data models
- Business Information & Management Reporting
- Report and communicate timely & relevant information on an agreed frequency including orders, sales, gross margins, purchases, stock, debtors and any other key area
- Help develop KPI's which monitor Business Critical Activity
- General Accounting and related work:

- Accurate calculation and posting of accruals and prepayments
- Monthly control account reconciliations (e.g. bank, debtors, creditors, fixed assets, inter-company)
- Perform full GL analysis
- Maintenance and accurate upkeep of Fixed Asset Register
- Complete VAT Returns monthly
- Ad hoc work as required by the business

**General Summary**:

- To manage, be responsibility for and where appropriate undertake appropriate activities in the following areas:

- Assist with preparation of Monthly Management Accounts including commentary
- Business Information (BI) & Management Reporting
- General accounting & related work
- Bank Reconciliations and cashflow forecasting
- Assist with preparation of Company Budgets
- Assist with annual Audit

**Education and Qualifications**
- AAT Qualified or
- Qualified or PQ CIMA/ACCA/ACA accountant

**Desirable skills**:

- Management Accountants & KPI preparation and reporting
- Expert user in ERP/MRP (e
- Strong Excel skills (Vlook ups/Pivots)
