Are you an organised people person who is interested in the environment? If so, the Environmental Solutions team is looking for a motivated person to assist the Director and Leadership team in managing and implementing our environmental engagement, communications and workflow.

**What you'll do**:
The role involves:

- managing the operating rhythm of the Environmental Solutions team, including management team meetings, team briefs, monthly reporting and routine functions
- preparing and updating briefing documents for the team on specific topics ahead of meetings with key stakeholders, and coordinating this with the wider business where needed, including preparation for CEO, Director and MP engagement
- managing the calendars of the Director of Environmental Solutions and Leadership team, including arranging internal and external meetings, venues, bookings, travel, agendas and meeting resources
- supporting events such as apprentice and early careers open days, assessment centres, work experience scheduling, VIP visits and annual Environmental Solutions team meetings.

**What you'll need**:
You will be personable and highly organised and able to work with people of all levels and backgrounds to ensure the smooth running of this passionate and pro-active team.

The role requires someone who is able to work sensitively and with discretion, respecting the roles they will be supporting in the Leadership team.

Communication and people skills are a must, as the role involves working with people at all levels within Wessex Water and external organisations, as well as supporting a growing team.

You will also be able to work unsupervised, demonstrate initiative and confidently use all Microsoft packages.

While environmental qualifications are not a requirement, an appreciation and love for your local environment would be beneficial.
